TQA

The TQ Absolute is a high-sensitivity triple-quadrupole mass spectrometer. It can be used with both UPLC (Acquity Premier), or with ambient pressure-gas chromatography (APGC). 

When booking, please specify which separation mode you require with the tick boxes, or leave both blank if you wish to just tune compounds with the onboard fluidics. Please note that it takes approx. 24 hours to change from UPLC to APGC as the ion source needs to settle overnight. Changing from APGC to UPLC can be done in approx. 1 hour. Swapping separation techniques will need to be done by either a qualified user or by the lab manager, as there are several sensitive parts that need to be removed that can be easily damaged.
