PANalytical Zetium 4kW XRF with small spot mapping

PANalytical, Zetium

A 4kW X-ray fluorescence spectrometer capable of running in normal or small spot (500 micron) modes.

Capable of elemental analysis from oxygen to uranium on bulk specimens in vacuo, and from sodium to uranium on liquid or powder specimens under He gas. On bulk glass samples, boron detection is also possible.

  • Small spot mode allows for single or multi-spot analyses on small specimens, or for rastering across a specimen for mapping applications.
  • Bulk samples must cover a circular aperture fully, with sample cups available with apertures of 4, 10, 20 and 37 mm.
  • Powder or liquid specimens must fill a 37 mm cup to a depth of at least 2 mm.

Data processing uses PANalytical's Omnium 'standardless' analytical package.
